VetBiz and CVE Resources for SDVOSBs and VOSBs
Attention Veteran Owned Business Directory Members (and veterans thinking about starting/buying a business): The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s (OSDBU) VetBiz’s site provides information about the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) (formerly the Center for Veterans Enterprise) efforts to verify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs). SDVOSBs and VOSBs who want to participate in the VA’s Veterans First Contracting Program must be verified by CVE in order to be eligible for VA contract set-asides. What is SDVOSB and/or VOSB Verification?
Verification is the process that SDVOSBs and VOSBs must undergo in order to qualify for VA set-asides. This process is managed by CVE. By visiting the VA’s CVE VetBiz website, you find information on how to start a VOSB and SDVOSB, how to get your VOSB or SDVOSB verified (including a Veteran Owned Business Badge or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Badge), information on verification renewal, what documents are needed to get verified, how to find out if your VOSB and/or SDVOSB qualify for CVE verification and much more: .
And of course, be sure to look for the red sign up button (right side of just about every page) to join the Veteran Owned Business Project and get your business’ FREE profile. Once verified and approved, your business will join over 30,000 other VOSBs and SDVOSBs and will be searchable by 1,000s of daily visitors.
