Comments on the Military and Business Ownership
I was raised to never say, "I can't," and the military only reinforced that as I had to overcome obstacles time and again. Entrepreneurs have to have a thick skin and not be afraid of setbacks. Having a clear goal or mission and doing whatever is necessary - substitutions, changing course, canceling one thing and immediately coming up with a new solution - is a must as a business owner as it was as a military officer.
