Through generous donations, Honor Flight Pittsburgh recognizes our American War Veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by transporting them via deluxe motor coach to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends.
Honor Flight Pittsburgh is a newly formed hub which joined with the National organization Honor Flight Network in the Summer of 2016. We are a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
Our first trip 08OCT16 was a humbling experience.
Our program is just a small token of our appreciation for those that gave so much.
Please help us continue to make their dream of visiting their memorials a reality.
