My service as a Marine Corps combat engineer officer shaped my life's mission: to help others carry unseen wounds with courage. Facing hardship in war deepened my sense of purpose and empathy, guiding me toward a career in trauma recovery and meaning-centered mental health care. Today, I use those lessons to walk alongside others as the navigate life's most difficult battles.
